HOLY SHIT!!! I'm going to recap the fucking awesome Rockstar Mayhem tour, and yes, people will disagree with me, but, get over it, it's my opinion, and if you don't like it, suck my......you get the picture.

Before I get started, the drive sucked there, too hot in my vehicle and no fucking air conditioning. The first band, after waiting a couple of hours to get in, was a band from Denver called Switchpin. Having never listening to them before, I think that they are pretty badass. In my mind, imagine the original grouping of Killswitch Engage, but with the talent of the current group. Go check them out at their MySpace page.

Next group up on the Jagermeister Stage was the Australian band Airbourne, and I have to say, that they are fucking sick live. They were fucking awesome in their performance, as well as the lead singer jumped out into the crowd in mid-set, and entered the mosh pit. Yes, the MOSH PIT!! He was in there for at least a couple of minutes before he went back on stage and continued on with the set. I'm now anxious to listen to their first studio album, Runnin' Wild.

After their set, I wanted to listen to Walls of Jericho, but I couldn't stand up because my knees locked up during Airbourne's set, so I went out into the main portion of the amphitheater, where most of the crowd waited until the first band on the main stage came on, Mastodon, and I have to say, I wasn't impressed. Maybe because I didn't listen to any of their shit, but I didn't really like it. It's the same with Dragonforce, maybe I would have to listen to more of their studio albums in order to appreciate them. Apparently, the crowd was bored enough, that they started to throw plastic bottles and pizza boxes during Dragonforces' set.

After Dragonforce is when shit hit the fan. Disturbed started out with the lead singer, David Draiman, hauled out like a psychopath being moved from moved to room to room in an asylum, and then started performing "Perfect Insanity". They continued on, playing some of their more popular songs, and I do have to say that my friend Welchie does have a point, they are so fucking awesome live, I destroyed my voice during their set, with Slipknot still to come.

The last band of the night, Slipknot, was so fucking insane. They are truly what they say they are, which is sick. They played some songs from every album, including a song that they say that they haven't played live in a while, which was Prosthetics. They also played their newest single, Psychosocial, which is so fucking awesome. I was so impressed by them, that I want to go to another fucking concert of there's.

Afterwords, I almost died. Seriously, if I didn't get my ass of the road, I would have fucking killed myself because I was so drained because of the concert. I ended up sleeping at the Fort Collins rest area for a few hours. Afterwords, I had to take the day off because I couldn't talk or walk, and now, two days later, I have most of my voice back, still can't sing yet, but my neck and shoulders are killing me.
